Artist's Comments
In 8th grade, we had to read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. One of the creative assignments was to either draw a salamander or a phoenix. The salamander represented the firetruck and the phoenix represented reincarnation, i think. (I may've gotten that from Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets.)
